CoastJet is registered by the New South Wales Government Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board to deliver the TDA40107 Certificate IV in Aviation Operations (Commercial Pilot Aeroplane Licence).

A general qualification for commercial aeroplane pilots. This qualification has been structured to align with applicable aviation licensing and regulatory requirements.

Note: additional requirements must be fulfilled in line with the current Civil Aviation Safety Regulations before a licence will be issued. These requirements include theory tests, flying hours and a flight test.

Job Description
The training package rules for TDA40107 Certificate IV in Aviation Operations (Commercial Pilot Aeroplane Licence) require successful completion of fifteen units of competency from the areas of communication and calculations, occupational health and safety, navigation, customer service, situation awareness, equipment and system operations, aircraft control and traffic management. The qualification has been structured to align with applicable aviation licensing and regulatory requirements. The fifteen units of competency meet the requirements of the CASA Day VFR (Aeroplane) Syllabus. Additional must be fulfilled in line with the current Civil Aviation Safety Regulations before a licence will be issued. These requirements include theory tests, flying hours and a flight test.
